Curse

For the last few months, my game cannot recognize Male Ritualist attacks. The character just stands still, his staff to his side, as orbs come out of his chest. Needless to say, it's especially difficult to play a Spirit Strength Rt/A or Rt/P because the lack of attack animations messes up my rhythm.

I know that re-installing should fix this problem, but I think it might be a bit too time consuming. Also, I only have the original Prophecies disc with me at the moment. Is there a quicker way to get around this problem?

If I remember correctly, any and all installation discs will give you the entire game, the extra content (and continents) are added in from the internet automatically. As for your actual question, with graphical errors like that there IS no easy or quick way, just flat-out wiping and reinstalling.

You can try the command line argument "-repair".

Well, it looks like I've shot myself in the foot. For some reason, I can't connect to Anet during the installation, whether from the down loadable client or via the GOTY disc...

EDIT: A simple restart fixed the problem. Please close this if needed.
